It is almost 2021 and as we are celebrating our one year anniversary we are looking back at our weddings from 2020. All of our weddings have been gorgeous and intimate weddings. They ranged from elopements, to micro weddings and they are becoming extremely popular. We can definitely state that we are in love with them!
For those of you currently planning an intimate wedding you open yourself up to choose from many unique venues that would never be able to accommodate a large wedding. One option we are in love with right now is helicopter elopements where you are flown to STUNNING back country location and are able to have a truly unique experience for your ceremony.
For Intimate weddings renting ten Chiavari chairs and two table linens to go with your colour scheme are well worth it. The Chiavari chairs can be used for both the Ceremony and Reception as only a few chairs are much easier to move. This is not always an option for large weddings as moving 150 chairs takes a lot of time.
For your Reception instead of the standard three course dinner at a wedding you can splurge on a gorgeous five course dinner for your 10 guests for a dinner you will always truly remember.
The one item we always tell couples that is well worth investing your money in is a fantastic Photographer and Videographer. We wanted to give a special shout out to Videographers who have been the ROCKSTARS of 2020! They have been able to bring families together as they are still able to watch their loved ones get married. One of our favourite moments this year was working with a couple to plan their streamed wedding. We were able to create a timeline that incorporated their ceremony, speeches, cake cutting, and first dance which allowed it all to be streamed to their friends and family who were unable to attend. For the guests that are in attendance you can really feel the love from every single person.
Intimate weddings have endless possibilities and there are so many more options for your Intimate wedding, and we have only scratched the surface in this blog! We are excited to continue working on Intimate weddings in the future.
