COVID19 & How it Affects your Wedding

During these unprecedented times it is natural to be filled with anxiety and unsure where to go next. This is such an uncertain time where changes happen every day and really every hour. We think it is important to take time to mourn what you may be missing out on, from your bachelorette party to a coffee date with a friend.

At Rockies + Rosé Events, we are taking time to take a deep breath. Our first and biggest concern is making sure everyone stays safe and healthy. We are doing our part in flattening the curve by not leaving the house unless absolutely necessary. The second thing we are doing is focusing on helping our current clients and figuring out what is best for their wedding going forward.

As of right now we are telling our couples that are 60 days out that we should be looking at a postponement. While that is upsetting news, we will work with those couples to ensure that we are able to find a solution for them. We are deeply empathetic to these couples and we truly believe that postponing your event does not mean you will not get that perfect day you dreamt of.

For one couple we were able to pull together a small elopement on March 18th. It was such a fantastic day! While it was not the wedding that they had been planning it was still a magical day for them. It really proved that the most important part of the wedding is the celebration of love. Take a deep breath and remember that you are still going to be getting married and you will still be celebrating your love. That being said, keep each other safe and your loved ones safe by staying home.

Rockies + Rosé Events is here to assist all couples who are looking to postpone or are having questions on what their next steps should be. We are here. Ignore the rain and look for the rainbow, this shall pass and if you need someone we are here for you.
